Lienvietbank Gains VND202Bln Pre Tax Profit In Jan-Apr

Lien Viet Commercial Joint Stock Bank (LienVietBank) posted VND202 billion of pre tax profit in the first four months this year. The bank reported over VND21 trillion of total assets, and over VND6.1 trillion of total outstanding loans.

In 2010, LienVietBank targets to reach VND5.16 trillion of chartered capital and VND60 trillion total assets, VND11 trillion of total outstanding loans and VND900 billion of profit.

The bank also plans to open 13 branches and 40 transaction sites, bringing the banks network to 70 branches and transaction offices this year.

Recently, LienVietBank announced to pay 7% interim dividend on current chartered capital (VND3.65 trillion) for the first phase of 2010 by the end of June.

Also in this year, the bank plans to issue VND2 trillion and $600 million of convertible bonds.
