An international exhibition on recycling energy was held in Hanoi on March 17 by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the International Exhibition and Fair Organisation.
The exhibition attracted 30 groups from 9 countries strong in recycling energy, such as Germany, the US, Denmark and Singapore. They displayed modern technologies, such as solar, wind, hydroelectric and biological energy sources, energy recycling procedures and transmission of recycled energy.
Minister of Science and Technology, Hoang Van Phong, said that the exhibition provides a good chance for Vietnamese managers and businesses to access modern technologies and equipment for recycling energy. "They have an opportunity to seek partners to implement Vietnams commitments at Copenhagen on climate change", he said.
During the exhibition, a series of forums will be held, such as the legal framework for energy recycling development, opportunities and challenges for energy recycling development, energy recycling technology and research, as well as potential and solar energy technologies in Vietnam.
