The countrys consumer price index (CPI) in May rose by only 0.27 percent over the previous month partly due to a decrease in the price of food, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
Nine out of 11 groups of goods saw prices increasing by 0.07-1.46 percent. Housing and construction materials experienced the highest rise of 1.46 percent and educational services the lowest rise of 0.07 percent.
Food and restaurant services, and post and telecommunication services dropped by 0.12 percent and 0.05 percent, respectively.
The price of gold slightly increased by 1.91 percent against April the US dollar dropped by 0.63 percent in value.
The GSO forecasts that June will see a CPI rice at the same level as May.
