The fair is an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to introduce high-quality products to the Cambodian market, especially agricultural products, food-processing materials, interior decoration, footwear, cosmetics, electronics, building materials and mechanics.
The 2010 Vietnam-Cambodia Trade, Services and Tourism Fair is scheduled to take place at the Koh Pich International Exhibition and Fair Centre in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on July 15-17.
The event is part of traditional trade exchanges between Vietnam and Cambodia organised by Ho Chi Minh City in the last 10 years.
A representative of the HCM City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) confirmed that Vietnamese arranged more than 300 stands at the fair, so Cambodian consumers can observe good Vietnamese products with reasonable prices.
In 2009, more than 500 national businesses took part in export activities into the Cambodian market through events held by the ITPC.
The 2010 fair is organised by the ITPC, HCM Citys Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Cambodias Ministries of Commerce and Tourism.
